HOW TO GET STARTED USING THE LAP IT UP FACILITY:
Every visitor will be required to have an orientation, provide proof of vaccines or titers (vaccine requirements are found in the FAQ section) prior to participating in any activity. A schedule will be posted online detailing what activities and classes will be taking place and when. Some of the activities or classes will require a reservation, which can be done online or by calling. You are welcome to view the schedule You will need to preregister and have your vet records faxed. Registration
TRAINING ROOM USE:
Activities can be attended by any dog. Activities that require prior training will be clearly noted on the schedule. We will have many programs that do not require training. You are free to book time alone or with a group where you may use portions of the facility in your own way. Some of our gear will be available for private or group use including the maze and agility equipment.
SWIMMING POOL USE:
For any swimming activity we require one private or group introductory session for your dog. This appointment must be made by calling. We will review pool rules and options. The session will also be used to determine if you need to be fitted for a life vest or clearance for swimming without a vest. Once the session has been completed you may swim that day.
If your dog does not like the water and you wish to condition/train them for swimming you have 2 options:
- Schedule only private pool time so you can work on training them for water activity.
- Enroll in our introduction to water class so your dog can be cleared for group swimming. schedule page.
